Important Update on US Shipping Policy

Dear Valued US Customers,

At Teyvatavern, we have always prioritized transparency and fairness in our service. Regrettably, due to unprecedented changes in US tariff regulations, we must update our shipping policy for US orders to ensure sustainable operations while continuing to serve you effectively.

Why Are These Changes Necessary?

According to the joint statement released by China and the United States following their talks in Geneva, Switzerland, on May 12, the U.S. will gradually reduce tariff rates on certain imported goods. However, it is important to note that the T86 duty-free policy (Section 86 of the U.S. Trade Promotion Act) for low-value cross-border parcels (typically under $800) has not yet been reinstated, and related import duties will continue to significantly impact order costs. After thorough evaluation, we have decided to implement the following adjustments to the shipping costs for orders from U.S. customers:

Key Adjustments to Our Policy

1. New Free Shipping Threshold: $115

  • Orders over $115: Continue to enjoy free standard shipping.
  • Orders below $115: Shipping fee will adjust to $13.95.
  • The amount of tariffs will be calculated additionally in the shipping cost.

2. Shipment Timing for Pre-Order/Backorder Items

To minimize tariff fees: If an order contains both stock items and pre-sale items or items that are temporarily out of stock, in order to avoid high tariffs, we have to ship all items together once fully available. Split shipments like before would trigger multiple tariff charges, making the order financially unsustainable.

We deeply regret the inconvenience this policy causes. This is not a decision we make lightly – it is a last resort to avoid shutting down US operations entirely.
